I personally like those effects, but if you don’t they also have a really pretty nude colour in the collection that you can use. Because this is a rather dark shade it does also make them look a bit darker and because of the shimmer it also adds shine. This will make the eyeshadows you use on top of it stay in place better and it will make them look more intense. I like to put this all over the moving part of the lid, in a pretty opaque way, and then use powder eyeshadow on top of it. However, how I like to use products like this is as a base. You can just sweep this all over the lid, blend the edges a bit and you’re good to go. They basically are just creamy eyeshadows and therefore you can use them instead of an eyeshadow. MAC Paint Pots are very multifunctional products. This is a bit more warm toned than the Maybelline one is, but it’s pretty darn close to be honest. This is the closest shade I could find to that and I do think it looks pretty similar. When I was buying this shade, I was opting for something that would look pretty similar to my Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze. If I have to put it in my own words, I’d say this is a warm bronze colour with a nice bit of shimmer to it. And I have to say I think that’s a really fancy way to describe what this is.
